My name is Clay, and I am a California based engineer with 7 years of experience working in shipyards. I’ve worked in three shipyards - two major shipyards in the United States and one in Canada.

I have worked on new construction for Ford-class aircraft carriers, Virginia-class submarines, Columbia-class submarines, auxiliary oilers (T-AO), Expeditionary Sea Bases (ESB) and Canada's Joint Support Ship (JSS). On the repair side, I have worked on Victoria-class submarines, Arleigh-Burke destroyers, San Antonio-class amphibious transport docks, and Independence-class littoral combat ships (LCS).
